There is a lot of downtime this time of year in North Carolina. Because we are North Carolina’s #1 Sports Network, we now turn our attention to golf, maybe some NBA/NFL draft and…MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. North Carolina is #blessed to have 10* Minor League Baseball teams, 2 of which are brand new this year, the Down East Wood Ducks (in Kinston) and Buies Creek Astros.
We are going to make it easy on you and show you which team you should be going to see every night based on promotions and deals. We have made it easy for you by linking to each specific night to buy tickets.
Thursday, May 18: Cheap beer/cheap food all over. Take your pick of any of the “Thirsty Thursday” or $1 concession nights at Durham, Winston-Salem, Kannapolis or Greensboro.
Friday, May 19: Dads…grab your daughter and go to Kannapolis for “Daddy-Daughter Date Night”. Includes a princess party.
Saturday, May 20: Winston-Salem is honoring our armed forces and hometown heroes.
Sunday, May 21: Kannapolis is having a “Bark in the Park” and welcoming Special Needs Families for some Sunday baseball.
Monday, May 22: Asheville is the place to be especially if you have kids, because all kids under 12 eat for free!
Tuesday, May 23: Two words. Dollar Tacos. Head down to a Down East Wood Ducks game in Kinston for that.
Wednesday, May 24: Day baseball options in Kannapolis, Down East, and Asheville.
*Note, the Burlington Royals season does not start until June. Also no promotion schedule available for Buies Creek Astros.
