No changes at the top of the league this week as Louisville and Clemson both took care of business, but the bottom of the league? Yeah, good luck making projections at this point. Do you go with “if the season ended today”, or do you go with where you think teams will end up? With trends starting to emerge a bit in the ACC, the second option seems way more fun.
One item that becomes crystal clear is that the ACC owes a big “thank you” to David Cutcliffe’s Blue Devils. By going in to South Bend and dropping the Irish to 1-3 on the season, Duke moves Notre Dame out of the 1st tier of ACC bowl games and moves the rest of the league up a spot. The win also puts the Blue Devils back into the bowl picture.
