According to the always accurate “Urban Dictionary”, Clemsoning is defined as: The act of delivering an inexplicably disappointing performance, usually within the context of a college football season.
Well 4 years ago today NC State was a part of the end of Clemsoning. That day in Carter Finley Stadium, the #7 ranked Tigers came to Carter Finley Stadium and lost 37-6 to NC State.
Since that game, Clemson has not lost a game to an unranked team, thus affectionately ending the “Clemsoning”.
Side note…NC State wore some sick all reds with all red helmets.
