We’ve looked closely at UNC’s play over the last couple of weeks and feel that this team shouldn’t be punished too harshly for a close loss away at UNI.
This is a young team playing without star point guard Marcus Paige. And looking at the front court, center Kennedy Meeks lost quite a lot of weight in the offseason and likely needs to add it back to become more dominant down low.
It’s early, yet. And this will be a team that will grow to become much better. But for now, we’re projecting UNC as the #7 team in the country.
