The Panthers may not have started the “first word of my tweets” trend, but they’re in the game early, and they nailed it.

This tweet unlocked the confession of the code: for the past few days the Panthers have been intentionally scripting their tweets such that the first word in each one will reveal a message when read in order, starting with the most recent.

Recently some guy went viral doing this with Smashmouth’s “All Star”, and no doubt the social media team at the Panthers (who always do a great job #KeepPounding) took notice. If you just want to know the whole thing, scroll to the end (or better yet, read the first few and then you should either know the entire song or immediately learn it. It’s classic.)

I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t sure how they were going to start a tweet with ‘became’. Well done, @Panthers.

Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute just sit right there I’ll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air
