Best NC Minor League Promotions – June 29-July 5

Articles

There is a lot of downtime this time of year in North Carolina. Because we are North Carolina’s #1 Sports Network, we now turn our attention to golf, maybe some NBA/NFL draft and…MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. North Carolina is #blessed to have 10* Minor League Baseball teams, 2 of which are brand new this year, the Down East Wood Ducks (in Kinston) and Buies Creek Astros.

We are going to make it easy on you and show you which team you should be going to see every night based on promotions and deals. We have made it easy for you by linking to each specific night to buy tickets.

June 29: It’s all natural and groovy at the Tourists! Asheville will play as the Hippies for one night only (yes, we considered the “isn’t every night hippy night in Asheville?” low-hanging fruit joke), followed by a jersey auction after the game.

The Tourists will be sporting these tie dye jerseys

June 30: Calling all black belts! Muddy the Mudcat will attempt to break a board on Karate Night.

July 1: The first 1,000 fans at the Wood Ducks game will receive a free jersey!

July 2: USA Baseball hosts Olympic Night! Interactive booths with the Hurricanes and NCFC will be there to promote sports included in the Olympics. Also, there will be a group of former and current Olympians there to sign autographs.

July 3: Go show the Buies Creek Astros some love at their home game vs. Potomac.

July 4: Fireworks and Independence Day festivities all around. Check out the Mudcats, Bulls, Tourists, Dash, and Crawdads at home.

July 5: Pups in the Park with the Dash! Bring your dogs out to the ballpark.
