Upon hearing news that the Chicago Bears would be starting Jimmy Clausen at quarterback this Sunday, Panthers fans expressed their deepest sympathies. Some sent flowers. Others notes. Some Panthers fans just silently fist pumped at the thought of one less team to compete for a Wild Card spot against. SportsChannel8 thought a video sympathy card would be appropriate.
