NC State at East Carolina – 12:00PM
Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Greenville, NC
High pressure will remain in place across the state on Saturday, continuing the warm, dry pattern we’ve seen over the last few days. Temperatures will climb from the mid 70s to the upper 80s during the tailgate hours and hover around 90 during the game. Things will be uncomfortable enough between these two fan bases without swamp ass and heat-related irritability to deal with.
Wake Forest at Duke – 3:30PM
Wallace Wade Stadium, Durham, NC
You thought it was hot in Greenville? Temperatures in the low to mid 90s throughout the tailgate and a heat index in the upper 90s through most of the game. Take a wading pool. And don’t be shy about it.
North Carolina at Illinois – 7:30PM
Memorial Stadium, Champaign, IL
Thinking of making the trip up to Champaign to cheer on the Heels? It’s worth it, if only to miss the heat. A cold front will swing through the central US Saturday morning and showers and thunderstorms in the area will have cleared out by the afternoon. Winds during the tailgate gusting to 25 mph and temperatures falling down to the lower 60s through the game. Plan accordingly.
